I am honored to be a Christian! I am a believer in Jesus Christ and join in fellowship with fellow believers. I am very happy to serve as the
minister of the Bendavis Church of Christ located on Highway 38 in Bendavis, Missouri. I have served this congregation since 1986. Prior to that time I served as the evangelist for the Highway 33 congregation in Chouteau, Oklahoma from 1984-86 and began my ministry with the Bendavis congregation in 1982. We are a small, country church made up of believers in Jesus and we practice a simple, bible-based Christianity.
The Origin and Principles of the Christians
I accept wholeheartedly the principles of the Christian Church which are:
· The Lord Jesus Christ as the head of the church.
· Christian our only name.
· The Bible our rule of faith and practice.
· Individual interpretation of the Scriptures, the right and duty of all.
· Christian character the test of fellowship.
· The union of all the followers of Christ, to the end that the world may believe.
World Convention of Churches of Christ
The international convention linking representatives of the Disciples of Christ, Churches of Christ, and Christian Churches. An organization
dedicated to the unity of all believers in Jesus. I am glad to be a supporter of this organization.
