Educational background
Here are links to educational institutions that I have attended:
Crowder College
Located in Neosho, Missouri. I began my college work here in January 1981. A large proportion of my time was spent playing soccer and as the trainer for the men’s basketball team. The result was dropping out in 1982 to join the U.S. Army. A highlight of being associated with the men’s basketball team was knowing Alvin Robertson who later attended the University of Arkansas before joining the NBA. Alvin played for the San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons, and Toronto Raptors. Alvin holds several NBA records in steals.
Rogers State University
Now known as Rogers State University, located in Claremore, Oklahoma. I graduated with an A.A. in Liberal Arts in 1987 when it was still known as Rogers State College.
Southwest Baptist University
Located in Bolivar, Missouri. I attended the satellite campus in Mountain View, Missouri and graduated with a B.S. in
Elementary Education in 1991 and an M.S. in Education in 1993.
University of Missouri
Located in Columbia, Missouri. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Information Science and Learning Technologies in 1998.
Drury University
Located in Springfield, Missouri. I was hired as an Assistant Professor of Education in 1999. In 2005, I was promoted to
Associate Professor of Education and Child Development and granted tenure by the university. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses primarily at the St. Robert campus. I also teach online graduate courses in education.
